Edith Irene McCutchen,

Edith Irene McCutchen, 79, of Abilene, formerly of Coryell County, died June 3 in an Abilene hospital. Funeral services were held June 5 at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Restland Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Phillips officiated.

Mrs. McCutchen was born August 19, 1905 in McClennan County, the daughter of the late Joe and Etta Holder. She was married to Clifford L. Tweedle around 1921. She was later married to Robert McCutchen in 1938. She had been a long time resident of Coryell County, having moved to Abilene only a few weeks ago.

She is survived by a son, Clyde Tweedle of Abilene; a half brother, G. B. Ingram of Lake Charles, La.; three step-brothers, Roy Ingram of Abilene, Jimmy Ingram of Temple and Harry Ingram of Flat; a step-sister, Mrs. Floy Bell of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her nephews served as pallbearers at the funeral services.
