David McLaughlin Lindquist, 65, of East Moline, IL, died on October 11, 2004 after a long illness. David was born in Galesburg, IL on February 17, 1939, the son of Delma McLaughlin Lindquist and the late Glenn F. Lindquist.
David attended Western Illinois University and graduated from Automation Institute in Chicago. He retired in 1994 after 30 years with Alcoa, Inc. in Bettendorf, IA.
David is survived by his wife, Helena Lindquist, of East Moline, his mother, Delma Lindquist, of Salisbury, CT, his sons and daughter-in-law, John M. Lindquist of North Manchester, IN and David and Kellie Lindquist of Rock Island, IL, his sister and brother-in-law, Cyd and John Emmons of Falls Village, CT and one grandson, Tristan Glenn Lindquist, Rock Island.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Lindquist was buried in the military cemetery on Arsenal Island, Rock Island.
David is a descendant of Tree John through his son, Samuel and Elizabeth Fulton McCutchan, the great-grandson of Dr. James F. McCutchan, and the grandson of Clara McCutchan McLaughlin.
