Dorothy Irene McCutchan, 99, of Evansville, IN, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She was born on August 27, 1913 in Scott Township to the late Herb and Louise Bogan.
Dorothy graduated from Millersburg High School in Warrick County in 1930.
She married Claude McCutchan (a descendant of William and Mary Ann Vickerstaff) on September 13, 1933. Claude passed away in 1958.
Dorothy drove a school bus for 17 years for Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC). She was very active in Blue Grass UMC and Scott Township P.T.A. Her favorite pastime was quilting and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude McCutchan; son, Glen McCutchan; sister, Iney Brown; grandson, Danny Small; parents; three brothers, Arthur, Howard, and Oscar.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Shelby Small (Donald) of Evansville; daughter-in-law, Barbara McCutchan of Pasadena, CA; grandchildren, Dean Small (Shell), David Small (Cindi), Karen Suchanke, David McCutchan; eight great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Services were held at the Blue Grass UMC with burial at Blue Grass Cemetery
